Health & well-being check
At Leadway Group, we believe that maintaining good health is essential to preserving independence at home. Early detection plays a key role in overall wellness, which is why we offer personalized health and well-being checks to provide reassurance for both you and your loved ones.
Our team of professionally trained carers ensures that your loved one has what they need to stay well, while keeping you updated on any significant changes. These checks support independent living for as long as possible.
Health and well-being checks are conducted during assessments and care reviews. If needed, we can recommend a more regular schedule for these checks. As with all our care plans, this service is flexible, adjusting as needs evolve.
What is a Well-being Check?
During a routine visit, our Care Experts bring a well-being kit to monitor key health indicators, ensuring your loved one’s vital signs remain stable. Using a nationally recognized system, we provide health assessments trusted by healthcare professionals.
If anything seems unusual or requires further attention, we’ll notify you right away and, if necessary, alert a healthcare professional for immediate follow-up.
What Vital Signs Do We Check?
- Blood pressure and pulse
- Temperature
- Breathing and oxygen levels
- Alertness
- Overall well-being (assessed through specific questions)
Regular Health Checks at Home
We conduct these checks right in your loved one’s home, often during assessments and care reviews, with additional checks as needed to maintain their well-being.

Night Care
Nothing compares to a great night's sleep, and unfortunately, nothing can replace the impact of a poor night's rest either. That's why we offer Overnight Care—to give your loved ones the best chance at getting the restful sleep they need.
Our Night Care service has two options, each delivered by a dedicated team of compassionate Care Experts who work through the night. This ensures that your loved one feels safe, secure, and fully supported at any hour.
Sleeping Night
With Sleeping Night, a Care Expert stays in your loved one's home overnight, sleeping nearby for at least eight hours. They are available if needed but primarily provide reassurance and comfort, so your loved one can sleep peacefully knowing someone is there. This option is ideal for those needing a watchful presence rather than continuous care.
Who is Sleeping Night for?
It's perfect for individuals who may only need occasional assistance during the night.
Waking Night
Waking Night care involves a Care Expert staying actively awake in your loved one's home through the night, ready to provide consistent support. This service is suited for those who require help with tasks like using the bathroom, taking medications, or adjusting positions due to physical conditions. Our team offers peace of mind and attentive care so your loved one can relax and rest well.
Who is Waking Night for?
It's ideal for individuals who need regular assistance throughout the night.

- Enjoying conversation and reflecting on fond memories
- Preparing nutritious meals to support a balanced diet
- Managing medication schedules and refills

The Benefits of Home Care
Choosing Leadway Group for Home Care means keeping your family where they feel most at ease. Beyond the comfort of home, they receive 1-on-1 attention, help with daily tasks, companionship, and a secure environment with familiar routines—all of which can help prevent age-related conditions such as dementia.
Simply put, we provide everything your loved one needs to live a happy, healthy life at home.
Home Care vs. Residential Care
Each individual has their own preferences, but here are a few reasons why many of our clients choose Home Care:
- Living independently in their own home
- Enjoying private spaces without the need to share
- Receiving dedicated, personal care and attention
- Avoiding crowded environments where infections can spread easily
- Continuing to live with beloved pets and cherished belongings
- Following personal routines and habits, rather than adapting to someone else's schedule
Adaptable Care, Always Evolving
As needs change, so does our Home Care. We are committed to delivering flexible support that evolves with your loved one, so they never need to switch providers as their care requirements grow.
Fully Regulated for Your Peace of Mind
Leadway Group is a fully regulated company, which means our staff are comprehensively trained and fully insured, ensuring the highest standard of care for your loved ones.
Consistent Coverage, Every Day
With Leadway Group, your loved one is always covered. If your usual Care Expert is unavailable, our team ensures a qualified professional is there to maintain consistency and comfort.

Companionship care
Staying connected with friends is challenging enough. But when health issues arise, or energy levels decrease, it becomes even harder—something many experience as they grow older.
This lack of social contact can significantly impact a person’s life, leading to stress, loneliness, and even depression. Watching your loved ones face these challenges can be truly heartbreaking.
What is Companionship Care?
Companionship Care provides your loved one with a daily companion—someone who can lend a hand and offer company, making their day-to-day life easier and more enjoyable.
Our Care Experts become that companion, supporting your loved one in the little things, like changing the bedding, hanging a new photo of the grandchildren, or making a comforting cup of hot chocolate with just the right amount of cream.
But it’s about more than just tasks; it’s about friendship. Our Care Experts are compassionate, empathetic listeners who genuinely care about knowing your loved one—their likes, their stories, and even their dreams for the future.
What Does Companionship Care Include?
Each service is tailored to meet your loved one’s unique needs, allowing them to live the life they want. Here are a few examples of what Companionship Care can encompass:
- Reminiscing and sharing stories from the past
- Assistance with shopping
- Preparing and enjoying meals together
- Engaging in hobbies, whether it’s needlepoint or bird-watching
- Support with household tasks, like emptying the dishwasher or changing a lightbulb
- Providing transportation to social gatherings or the community theater
- Accompanying them on trips to the GP
- Planning spontaneous outings they’ll enjoy and remember
Better Quality of Life
We believe that age should not be a barrier to happiness. Our Companionship Care is designed to support a fulfilling, joyful life for your loved one, right from the comfort of their home.
